MEET MEGAN

Hi, I’m Megan, the esthetician and owner at Bare Beauty Lounge, a private waxing studio in Commack, New York.

Waxing is truly my passion, and I specialize in Brazilian waxing while also offering facial and body waxing services. Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of clients of all body types, skin types, and hair textures. My goal is always the same: to help you feel smooth, confident, and comfortable in your own skin.

I’ve created a space where everyone feels welcome, comfortable, and completely at ease. This is a judgment-free space where you can relax, feel taken care of, and know you’re in good hands.

Every service is customized to your individual needs using professional-grade products and the highest sanitation standards. I never double dip, all tools are thoroughly sanitized, and your comfort and safety are always my top priorities.

I’m so grateful to do what I love every day and to have built something that means so much to me. Bare Beauty Lounge is truly my happy place, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

STUDIO INFORMATION

Where is Bare Beauty Lounge located?

The studio is located at 2171 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, NY in the black and white building behind iHop.

Is there parking available?

Yes! Parking is available in both the front and the back of the building. Enter the lot from Old Indian Head Rd.

What are your business hours?

Bare Beauty Lounge is currently open:

Wednesday & Thursday — 10am - 8pm

Friday — 9am - 5pm

Saturday — 9am - 3pm

Closed — Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Occasionally, Tuesdays may open based on demand. If you are hoping for a Tuesday appointment, please check the booking site for availability or join the waitlist and specify that you are looking for a Tuesday along with your preferred date.

How do I find the studio once I'm inside the building?

When you walk in, walk down the hall and take the elevator directly next to Commack Pediatric Dentistry and take it up to the third floor. Suite #347, "Skin Theory Aesthetics", will be directly to your left — Bare Beauty Lounge is located inside.

Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?

Appointments are required, walk-ins are not accepted. For same day availability, feel free to reach out via text message at 516-779-3352.

When can I expect a response to my message?

All messages are answered during business hours. As a solo business owner, I am often in service and unable to answer phone calls—please do not call. Text messages are preferred, and all messages will be answered as soon as I see them on the days I am in the studio.

Messages sent on days the studio is closed will be answered the next business day.

For faster assistance, please review the website first. Most frequently asked questions, policies, and booking information are available online, and appointments can be booked, rescheduled, or canceled directly through the booking site.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, all major credit cards, and digital payments (like Apple Pay & Zelle) are accepted.

How do I reschedule my appointment?

You can easily reschedule your appointment through the link in your confirmation or reminder text/email from GlossGenius. Please note that cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment can't be processed online — you will have to contact me directly. All appointments are subject to my cancellation policy, which you will review and agree to when booking.

What can I expect when I arrive at the studio?

The studio has a calm, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. There's a comfortable waiting area just outside of the treatment room available if you arrive early or if I'm with another client or finishing up preparations for your service.

STUDIO POLICIES

At Bare Beauty Lounge, I want every guest to have a smooth, comfortable experience. Here’s a quick guide to how things work in the studio:

Appointments & Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a 50% fee of the scheduled service(s).
No-shows will be charged 50% of the booked service(s) and will no longer be eligible to book future appointments.

Booking & Confirmation:

Once you book, you’ll get a confirmation text and a reminder in the days leading up to your appointment. Please confirm your spot so I can hold your appointment!
If you’re running late, please let me know — I give a 5 minute grace period, but longer delays might affect your service.

Service Satisfaction & Touch-Ups:

All services are final sale — there are no refunds.
If you’re unhappy with your waxing service, you have 5 days from your appointment to come back for a touch-up, free of charge.

Products:

Retail products are final sale once opened or used.
Unused, unopened products can be returned within 30 days for studio credit, which can be applied toward future products or services.

New Clients:

A deposit is required to book your first appointment. Deposits transfer if you reschedule with enough notice, but are non-refundable if canceled.
Existing clients do not need to pay a deposit when booking.

Safety & Age:

Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian present to sign a consent form.
Male clients are accepted only by approved referral.
